Anyone else having trouble "right clicking" on webshots?!
« on: 24. July 2008, 19:51:06 PM »
I've tried to open several webshots pages and can no longer right click on the pic and then save it. This happens when viewing the picture full size. Of course you can just hit view, source and then copy and paste the source into the tool bar, and THEN right click and save. BUT THATS A PAIN! Anyone else having this problem with webshots???

Is there an interent option that might have gotten unchecked somehow?

THANKS!!!

You're right. Seems webshots has disabled the possibility of using right clicks.

hey,
you can save the pictures by using the page information and "media" (in firefox 3 just click on the favicon). Then scroll in the media section down and there is the picture in .jpg

If you use firefox download a widget called NoScript.  Go to webshots, right click, go to the noscript options and forbid webshots.com.  When you click the fullsize link when viewing a picture, a page will pop up with a url for the image on it.  Simply click the link to view the picture, right click, and save.

To my knowledge, you can still also simply load the full view, click left on the pic, and save it with a right click. Which is the better option for saving high resolution pics anyway.

Have you tried to switch off JavaScript?

On a related note, has anyone else tried clicking on full size and got "This photo may only be saved by friends"?
