Braces are definitely a fetish for me, my oldest and most intense one. It overlaps with orthopedic braces, so BracedLife's material is pretty much perfect for me.

Well I'm also in the fetish category and since childhood, I dislike anything removable because one thing I like about braces is knowing you always have them on.  I've had braces twice, but I didn't like headgear because it got too in the way for things like drinking from a glass.  I like fixed though, lots of shiny metal is definitely something I like.  Sadly my ortho has a knack for very few appliances and just using normal braces and elastics, so I've only had a carriere and headgear (not at the same time, but headgear just didn't work out) besides braces+elastics.  I'd love it if I could have braces despite not needing them, maybe a herbst, full bands, expanders hehe.  But I know it's probably not going to happen.

do you like the idea of having braces put on you or others? It's the same for me...the thought of things being chosen for me,the  humiliating process of getting them and afterwards, the visibility and permanence of them, etc. that turn me on.

 I'd love to be told that I need braces by someone (in a dominant way) or them tell me that they want me in braces, and maybe be there at the appointment (them watching or filming would be so embarrassing) and then making me smile for them afterwards, giving teasing comments but telling me I look so good /they like to see me all flustered.

TrainTrack, how would you feel about getting fake braces after your real orthodontic treatment is complete? That way you could have as many appliances as you like and big shiny brackets on your lovely straight teeth. You could wear what you want, when you want, on your own terms or you could ask a friend with the same interest to set and monitor your 'treatment plan'. I am going to do this with my significant other and although it is never going to be quite as good as real braces it means I'll get to experience appliances that I wouldn't get in reality and she gets to see me with braces as an adult male and can enjoy my embarrassment etc. I am also going to be required to follow instructions, so effectively handing over control, just as with an orthodontist. My friend is quite creative so I suspect the consequences of non-compliance may be quite challenging. I get excited thinking about what is waiting for me - going to familiar places knowing that I can but must not remove the metal in my mouth etc.

Having to submit to the orthodontists treatment plan and deal with the humiliation of wearing big obvious braces in public. Even better if the appliances cause a lisp that’s difficult to get over. It’s as if the patient is being put into a permanent state of bondage where they have to just get on with their life despite being forced to wear uncomfortable embarrassing devices in their mouth, on show for everyone to see, for a number of years.
