So update I felt much much better and I’m here now and checked in and my appointments in a few minutes and OMG

IM GETTING BRACES SOON YALL WISH ME THE BEST IM SO NERVOUS OMG

NEXT TIME I UPDATE ILL HAVE THEM!!!

UPDATE: I HAVE BRACES!!!!

Okay well just the upper row unfortunately (they wanted to wait because my tmj issues and I'd be holding open for so long if we did both) But I got the top on!! And bottom + thicker wire in 3 weekss

But I can't believe it!! Can I post pics on here or something?  I'm trying to eat something now (Feel sos weird ah!) but im gonna update about the whole thing in detail soon!

AHH!! I have them!

You most definitely can post picks here! I only got the top first and am very grateful, it made eating so much easier having full control of one jaw.

oh I didnt know that! yeah im grateful to actually..it took so long to do just the top and I was getting hungry/jaw hurting..so I would've been kinda miserable if I got both at once. Plus I get to look forward to being made into a total metal mouth next appointment ;)

And I get to get used to them more like you said.

So far, I really like the tension and tugging on teeth I feel. I kinda wish it was more painful lol (maybe tomorrow?)  I'm crazy haha.

yeah its crazy surreal!! I feel so much relief now that I've got them on. I can't stop smiling every time I realize I have braces...and like feeling them with my tongue and pushing against my lips as I talk. I'm feeling the tugging on teeth feeling and I honestly like it lol. I can't believe I have braces on my teeth now!!

I want to write in depth about the installation and everything too, if anyones interested!!

haha I heard it gets worse. I do enjoy this kind of pain (had invisalign so kinda remember), but I could take painkillers if its hard to eat..that should help right?

It's such a huge change ahhh! I'm gonna be looking at them in every mirror now lol.
