I'm sure that most of the males here have a medical "braces fetish".Like the real kind. Personally I know I have one at my young age and I need help.
I don't know if the actual attraction will ever go away, which is why I need help. How can I "contain" the attraction so the next time I see someone with braces I won't lose it and have to hide my problem. Plus I'm probally going to get them soon and I don't want to be so attracted to my own braces that I'm constantly look at myself. I really need help.

I struggled with those feelings a little bit when I was younger.  I was attracted to braces before puberty, even, and from then, all the way through college, I sort of felt like I 'needed help'.  And then... at some point... I realized that me liking braces wasn't hurting anyone.  Even myself!  A fetish is like anything else you have a taste for: you must enjoy it in moderation and not let it control you.  

For example- it's okay to love ice cream.  But if you let that love take over, and you're eating a big bowl every day, pretty soon your health is going to suffer for it.  You've got to be tough with yourself sometimes.   But... if you're enjoying it every now and then... no big deal!  

Loving braces is like that for me.  I don't let myself get fixated on them, but I do enjoy looking at them, online and in person.  My wife has been out of braces for over 10 years now, but I enjoy my little fantasies, remain faithful to my wife, and keep everything nice and balanced.  

Once you can accept your fetish as part of who you are, and begin working towards moderating it, you'll be a happier man.  Good luck!  

can anyone give me advice on how to tell my wife i have a braces fetish?

i have loved braces since i was... 5? yeah, about.
i've always envied those who had braces, and i wanted to feel that strange thing in my mouth that they had.
i never dared to undertake it. however, by this time i do not feel anymore that there's something wrong with me because of it.

I first remember noticing braces on an older girl when I was around 6, and have had a "thing" for them ever since. I wore them as an adult, and may need to yet again as my teeth have moved around. I certainly didn't mind visiting the orthodontist's office, but the braces themselves weren't much fun. My wife has some inkling of my interest, and she has some mild fascination as well. Just a part of me that I accept as doing no harm to anyone.

I have found braces interesting and a fetish since I was a child, I can recall sitting in the orthodontists chair when I was four when my older brother was in braces, I grew up always wanting braces and fascinated with other peers in braces. This was in the 50's and 60's when there was a social stigma to wearing braces and it was difficult to be social with brace wearers. I almost had braces during my teens but my family situation changed that. I finally went through orthodontic treatment 6 years ago that lasted three years. This was the best times of my life. An adult in my 50's with headgear. I regret that I did miss the full banded treatment era. I finally got to go through the process that I lusted for years. The experience has not cured my fetish for braces. I thought I was the only person with this fetish until I found some letter writers in fetish magazines prior to the internet and when I found the internet I was not really alone. This is great that we can share our interest and I agree that this fetish should not control your life but be enjoyed with a passion.
