Co-Ed Jen gets a tin grin
« on: 29. September 2024, 04:09:29 AM »
Jen was from a small village in a poorer part of the state, which is why even though she was bothered by here overbit and crooked teeth, getting them fixed was just not an option.  Since she was 13 she begged her parents to let he get braces, but her father explained to her that the nearest orthodontist was a four hour drive away.  So while she otherwise grew to be a pretty girl, her mouth made her shy.  Which in turn is how she was able to become a bookworm, and study hard earning a full scholarship to the state university.

Jen moved into the dorms late august she had a plan, but she wasn't sure how to carry it out.  The plan she was going to get a job while in school and us the money to finally get braces.  But, she had to find an orthodontist near campus.

Authors note: This is my first story, getting it started has been a bit of a challenge, I mapped out in my head where we are going with Jen treatment wise, but I ask that you bare with me as we try to get there.

Take you time and organize your thoughts. Most importantly, have fun writing. Looking forward to seeing what Jen's treatment will entail and waht her life with braces will be like.

I have a few suggestions for you. Some of them may help you with your story.

!) When you have an idea, write it down. Even if you don't use it in this story, it can be used in another one or it may give you other ideas you do use.

2) Use a program or app such as Word, OpenOffice, Grammarly or Google Docs when you are writing. It allows you to move things around and add or remove parts to get the desired result.

3) Take your time when you are writing. There is no rush to post chapters. When you have a chapter ready to post, share it with us.

4) Use a spellchecker as you are writing. It will help you with your spelling and grammar and can make suggestions to improve what you write.

5) Try writing chapters one or two pages long. The length of the chapters is unimportant. It is simply a way to structure the way you write and give you a goal to work towards.

6) This one is important. Don't try to write the perfect story everyone will like. It is impossible. Write the story you want to read.

7) Enjoy what you are doing. Have fun writing the story.
