I am a 22 year old girl from Spain. I've never had braces, even though I have been advised to get them, but I never had the courage. Let's imagine that you were my orthodontist, which kind of treatment would you give me? I like big and noticeable braces that will make me lisp, drool and shine in steel.

Put your lip spreader in then I would start out with a fixed rapid pallet expander with a Herbst appliance connected. The expander is equipped with rear molar biteplates. Then I woukcal I stall your fixed lower expander and connect the bottom of the Herbst to it. Then the metal brackets are I stalled to the rest of the teeth along with the thick archwire and literature ties on all brackets I stead of rubber bands. Then I will install a lower fixed lip bumper in that my Dane brownish-tan rubber color and it would be extra bulky. Last. It not least your Extraoral Gear (my favorite) I will install a cushion looped oversized Facebows with a biteplate built to it and fix it into your upper Headgear tubes with ligerature ties which you don't know its wired in just like your lip bumper due to the lip spreader and tongue rest. The whole time you are tensing up and showing signs of fear like (I'm going to have to wear that!?). Then the brown heavy leather padded head strap reinforced with metal is gently placed onto your head and pulled tightly to the facebow. This is your first appt   I pull the lip spreader out, hand you a mirror and allow you to adapt and adjust to your New Perminant Look. You see you embarrassing (Oh So Sexy) new look and you look absolutely scared. While you are wondering when the Gear is going to be taken off of you due to your thought of only night time wear, I then tilt you up in the chair, schedule your next appt then tell you that you are free to go. You are in sheer disbelief and try to hide your face walking through the waiting area

I would put you the biggest braces available, the thicker wire i cand find, a purple power chain, a palatal expander, a lot of elastics, i would make you use a headgear, for at least 16 hours per day, and because i am a little sadist i would make come every week for your adjustement

Ceramic braces with pink elastics, double facebows attached to a white leather interlandi headgear strap, with chin cup. And an additional pink highpull headgear with j-hooks.

While I'm sure there's certain ethical hoops to jump through I'm sure so long as no one is harmed it can't be that bad. It's certainly safer than the alternative of diy untrained horror shows or people opting not not have their braces removed when it's time by just not showing up.

Can the last scenario actually cause harm? I mean, missing appointments near the end of treatment with fixed braces? I reason that once teeth are straight, fixed braces would just act as a retainer, as long as everything is kept clean there wouldn't be a problem.
My wife hasn't had an appointment in over two years (she intends to resume treatment some time soon) and her teeth haven't had any pressure on them. Her premolar extraction gaps have opened up as that was getting treated when she was last at the ortho.

I can even change the ligature colours whenever I want

One of the most fun aspects of fake braces. I used to change the ligs on my wife's fakes all the time. Different colors, power chains, different archwires with different crimpable attachments -- all possible!
