Ah, I've been around the site for a little while now, and i've been wondering something since i become a bronze member , which is 30 posts. (I'd guess?)

My question is, what are the number of posts required for each rank? What is each rank's name? Is it a pattern of Bronze, silver, gold?

Also, Is the ranking upgrade such as bronze to i assume silver, automatic, or does it have to be assigned by an admin?

{Apologies for the Necro of this thread, but seeing how no-one answered it, i guess i'll fill out some of the ranks here with the relevant Information.)

Rank appears to be assigned Automatically, In the case of Bronze-> Silver->Gold->Platinum.

Newbie- < 10 Posts.

(Normal) Member - 10 Minimum Posts

Bronze Member- 30 Minimum Posts {Story board can be unlocked in parallel via PM to Marty/polo, if the member has this amount of posts.}

Silver Member- 75 Minimum  Posts

Gold Member- 150 Minimum  Posts

Platinum Member- 300 Minimum Posts.


Special Member -  ? ? ?  {Currently TBA, but seems to be most likely Manually allocated for forum feats?

Administrator - Marty And Polo. Position is not assigned to other users, as far as i can tell.


The Ranking itself doesn't seem to provide any purposes aside from bragging rights showing forum fealty. This also applies to the bronze Member rank, as the story board is unlocked independently.

I seem to be a "special" member, but I have no idea what I specifically did to get that. I have a feeling that "special" is a manually allocated rank, and it could be related to the stories I write, and the large number of associated posts (ie mine, and comments from others)

Funnily enough, looking at my profile, this will be my 1500th post, I wonder if anything will change?

Polo's last Visit:  June 27 , 2021, 05:31  - as long as i am active here polo was always mostly in (Technical) Background, and does not Post many things, and Marty is the Board Admin and is more present here..
