hi, i just got braces fitted to my upper teeth. but i also have an underbite. does that mean that i'll have to wear headgear? ???

As will I. I have to wear reversible headgear for my underbite treatment and it is absolutely wonderful especially when I talk with it on and the metal and plastic clack and squeak. I will take late night walks in my neighborhood and if somebody walks by, obviously the mask is something that you cannot hide :). Also the mask is so comfortable to wear because of the perfectly molded chin piece and forehead piece rest against your face like a hand in a glove. The reason for jealousy is because I have always wanted to try the face bow gear on a count of I have an underbite and my braces don't have the headgear tubes due to my treatment plan.
