A bit of headgear fun in the studio.
« on: 30. September 2012, 04:44:24 AM »
I had a bit of headgear fun today.  Thought I’d share.

Elsewhere on these forums I’ve stated that I have a few braces buddies.  One of these is a lady who is also a part-time model.  (A career-woman who occasionally goes in front of the camera).  To make a long story short, I lost a bet to her, and my forfeit was that I’ll wear my headgear the next time I see her.

As it turns out, the “next time” I saw her was yesterday morning for a photo shoot.  And she kindly reminded me 2 days ahead of our shoot to remember to bring my headgear along. *grumble*.

Nevertheless, I tell her okay, deal, but SHE put it on and SHE takes it off.   If she wants me to wear it, I’m not gonna do it to myself.

We arrive at the studio, and as I set up my lights, she tells me  “I thought you were going to wear your headgear?”  So I take out the damn thing and hand it to her; I pop in my hawley and my facebow, and she proceeds to strap me up.  The make-up artist looks at me skew and asks her “why is he wearing that thing?”  and she replies “Because he lost a bet and this is his forfeit”.  I tell ye, I almost melted into the floor.

And so the shoot begins.  Wore the headgear the entire time during the shoot.  Lisping like a drunken sailor, cursing under my breath like one too, but at the same time, kinda enjoying it.  After 3 hours (and a few awesome pics later) she reckons I paid my forfeit and I can take it off – but that job is hers.  So I go up to her after the last pose and ask her to take it off.

Now I also have a bit of a glove fetish, and the last pose was a leather-gloved shot.  And as luck would have it, she takes off my headgear still wearing her leather gloves!  How lucky can one man get?  Getting the leather gloves so close to my face, smelling them, and there is me, grinning like the village idiot but trying not to show it too much.  Stuff fantasies are made of!

Yeah, I said it before, no matter how strong a fetish, you can only take so much of anything.  Wearing the headgear in a studio where I should be enjoying myself as a photographer, and along with the embarrassment of breaking it out in front of the makeup artist, was a bit sucky.  Its not altogether a pleasant experience.  Yet, I’m thinking of another foolish bet I can take before our next shoot!  :-D

For photographic ‘evidence’ of the shoot (sorry, no headgear pics, just pics of the model) look here.  That was the last pose – taken with me geared up, and she took it off wearing those gloves.

Bets are good when we win. When we lose is not very good ...
