Inspiration for stories comes from many places, and sometimes the result is part story, part fan-fiction, as is this story.
What you see is what you get, there are no plans to continue the story! Enjoy!

Chapter 1
A teen girl come out of the orthodontist's office, close to central Paris. She has been given a rather nasty activator to wear: if that was all, she might be able to cope, but this activator had a permanently connected facebow, matched up with a very obvious interlandi headgear.. it's the sort that has several straps that go around the head.
"I'm sure you'll quickly get used to it." suggested her mother (speaking in French, of course!)
"There'th no way I'll ever get uthed to thith lot!" screamed the teen girl.

A couple of km away, Shadow Moth has just arrived in his 'lair', and can instantly feel the teenager's angst.
"Another teenager that hates the world. I think I can use this to my advantage..." He holds out his hand, allowing a white butterfly to land, then cups his hand over it, akumatising it, and making it into a black moth.
"Fly away my little Akuma, and help that poor girl get her revenge...."
The black moth flies out of the hole in the middle of the large window, across the rooftops, to seek the teenage girl. When it does, it lands on her headgear, making the facebow, activator and straps turn dark.
"ReBracer, I am Shadow Moth, I feel the hate you have of your braces, so I give you the power to share that hate with the people of Paris. All I ask in return is that you bring me the miraculouses of Ladybug and Cat Noir!"
"It will be my pleathure, Shadow Moth!"
Having accepted Shadow Moth's invitation to become 'ReBracer', the darkness expands, converting her into a multi-coloured 10 metre tall 'villain', with a very obvious headgear and facemask, as well as lovely long flowing hair. ReBracer strides along the many streets of Paris, and as she goes along, she sends balls of lightning from her hands: as they touch people, they suddenly get a mouthful of extreme braces: some have their mouths forced open by stupidly large appliances. Other get braces with multiple facebows and headgear straps, others get braces with facemasks. Some even get both a facemask AND the headgear!
"Paris has a new akumatised monster, who seems to be giving everyone various types of orthodontic braces!" explains the reporter on the news channel. "She seems to be heading towards the Eiffel Tower...."

Chapter 2
"Hey, Samantha!" says a slightly bored Serena.
"Yeah?"
"How do you fancy a few days away?"
"Sounds good to me, where do you fancy going?"
"I rather fancy a trip to see Paris"
"Oh, yes, that WOULD be nice. Think you can teleport us both that far?"
"Bah! I was thinking about taking the train there, it's about 'taking a break'!"
"Ok, want me to book it? And are you planning on staying with a French witch family or something?"
"No, just a simple hotel.... can you book that too?"

So, we seem to have an interesting mix of fan-fiction, and a pair of witches going to Paris for a short break. But something tells me that Serena might get involved with what's happening in Paris...

Serena and Samantha caught the train over to Paris, and are staying at a very pleasant, yet simple, hotel. Around the corner there is an amazing boulangerie (that's a bakery!) called 'Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Pâtisserie', that does absolutely amazing stuff: I'm sure they will be stocking up from there before going back home!
Today, the weather is nice, and they are currently walking through the 'Champ de Mars', the gardens that lead to the Eiffel Tower.
"Hey, what's THAT?" asks Samantha, turning and pointing behind them: they see the large multicoloured 'monster', with very obvious headgear. "Nice headgear though!" she adds.
The monster has balls of lightning coming from its hands, and as it gets closer to them they can see that when they hit someone gives them some sort of extreme and embarrassing braces.
Suddenly two figures appear above the rooftops: one is slim, wearing a tight red and black spotted outfit, and seemingly using a yoyo to do stuff. The other is dressed in black, with a long tail: yes, it's Ladybug and Cat Noir, come to save the day! A cheer goes up from the crowd.
Samantha and Serena can see the two of them talking. By now, they are on an adjacent rooftop, giving our two witches an excellent view. Ladybug throws her yoyo up in the air, calling out 'lucky charm!'. A large pointy witch's hat appears, which she catches.
"A witch's hat?" asks Cat Noir. "I mean, where you gonna find a witch in modern-day Paris?"

Chapter 3
Ladybug looks around, and sees Serena, who appears to her to be red-spotted, matching the hat. Needless to say, she is confused. Nevertheless, she goes down from the rooftop to talk to Serena.
"Excuse me, but my 'Lucky Charm Witch's Hat' seems to think I need to talk to you: any ideas why?"
"Well, Samantha and I *are* both witches, maybe we can help you?" said Serena smiling, and letting Ladybug see the large amount of metal in her mouth. "Oh, I'm Serena by the way".
Now, of course, you are wondering how English Serena and Samantha are able to understand and converse with French Ladybug: it's easy! Serena has been running a background spell that simply lets them both read, write, talk and listen in French! For most witches, this would be possible, but difficult: they would only be able to do it for short periods. But, of course, we know that Serena is no ordinary witch, so such a spell is really easy for her.
"Hello Serena, I'm Ladybug..."
"Yeah, that kinda makes sense!"
Ladybug quickly explained about the Akumas, and how it would be in one particular item, and how they would need to break that item to release the Akuma. "Then I can de-evilise it back to a nice butterfly!
"So, which item do you think the Akuma is in then?"
"Well, she calls herself 'ReBracer', so I'm thinking it's in her braces!"
"Why is it always braces?" asked Serena. "So what's your plan?"
"Well, we need to get her braces out of her mouth, which is the hard bit! Once we've done that, Kitty can do a 'Cataclysm' on them to break them!"
"Oh, I can do that for you quite easily... but can I go and..... taunt her first?" asked Serena.
Ladybug smiled. "Sure, but let's get up on the roof and join my pussy cat... need a lift?"
"No, it's fine, we can just teleport up there...."
"Teleport, cool, I can sometimes do that, just need a bit of help..."
"Hi there, Cat Noir isn't it? I'm Samantha, this is Serena."
"Good morning ladies! Nice hat you have there, it suits you!" He turned to Ladybug. "You have some competition for my affections, M'lady!"
"Um, would you mind if we changed into our 'work clothes'?" asked Serena. She ran a summoning spell, followed by a 'change clothes' spell, both of which she had used many times before. They were now in their 'battle outfits', and Serena had her sword on her back, as ever. Oh, I forgot to say that Serena had decided to keep the witch's hat on, it was a bit of fun!
They turned around to see ReBracer coming towards them.
"Ah, Ladybug, Cat Noir, I'm here to collect your miraculouses...."
"Think again, ReBracer!" As Ladybug and Cat Noir started to fight ReBracer, ReBracer hit them both with lightning balls: Car Noir now had very obvious and large metal brackets and double headgear, with a bright pink interlandi headgear, whilst Ladybug, also sporting large metal brackets, now had a yellow facemask!
"Hey, ReBracer, you missed us!" called out Samantha. "Although, if I'm honest, I don't mind you giving me more braces!" Samantha smiled, letting ReBracer see her metal braces.
"Me neither!" added Serena. "Come on ReBracer, try and do your worst to us!". Serena also smiled, letting ReBracer see the massive amount of metal in her mouth, and covering her teeth.
Two lightning balls headed towards them, and they let them hit. They both had double headgear as well as facemasks. Samantha put her hand up, to find out what she had. "Oh yeah, nice one!" shouted Samantha, which slightly took ReBracer aback.
"So, are we ready to do this?" asked Ladybug.
"Yeah... go for it!" replied Serena.
Ladybug threw out her yoyo, wrapping the string around ReBrace's arms, to restrain her.
Serena then used a summoning spell to remove the braces and headgear from ReBracer's mouth, letting it fall to the ground. Cat Noir jumped down, and with the aid of some cool graphis, called out 'Cataclysm', and touched the braces, turning them black. The black Akuma flew out of the braces.
Ladybug started to spin her white and red spotted yoyo. "Time to de-evilse!" she shouted, throwing the yoyo out to capture the Akuma (accompanied by some more cool graphics!). With the yoyo back in her hand, she flipped open the lid, releasing the now white - and de-akumatised - butterfly.
"Bye bye, little butterfly" said Ladybug, as it flew away.
"Nice computer graphics!" said Samantha. "Does that always happen?"
"Oh yeah, they are pretty cool, aren't they... but this is the best bit." replied Ladybug. She took the witch's hat from Serena's head, and threw it up in the air. "Miraculous Ladybug!!!". With even more graphics, a swamp of ladybugs appeared, and went around fixing everything that ReBracer had done, including turning ReBracer back into the teen girl with braces that she was before.
The four of them fist-bumped.
"Pound it!"
