Well, I got them on this morning and picked a teal color thats really nice! I like the new color a lot!
I guess short summary of the installation if anyones interested:
It definitely went faster this time. The ortho put in the white cheek retractors from the start too which I much preferred, and installed the bottom front 6 brackets in one go. I remember feeling pretty turned on at the start..just being in the chair, being "worked on" on display with the retractors in, and with how fast I was getting braces on. Also had to wear this big ugly glasses (uv protection, but they were really ugly) that made me feel more embarrassed. This other ortho would come to check the positioning of the brackets and make small adjustments before they sealed them with the light...which made me feel even more like I'm a project being worked on. Especially when he and my ortho would take technical things about bracket placement and what should be done....I felt like an experiment and submissive and it was enjoyable for my kinky side lol.
Getting toward the back teeth, my turned on feelings became replaced with a need to pee though, so that ruined a bit of the fun unfortunately lol. Wanted it to speed up near the end.
She put in a slightly thicker wire on the bottom right away (since my teeth are pretty straight), and getting the wire installed felt really good...I enjoyed all the sensations. I didn't have the top wire changed, but I picked a new color and I surprisingly really liked the tugging feelings of having those elastics all changed with the tool she used. Definitely look forward to that again..and next time I'm getting thicker wires in both rows ^.
The feel of the new lower brackets is crazy haha. It's hard to describe how I feel about it...it feels both foreign but also very right in a way? Like I finally got what was missing. Not as shocked by how they look as I was with the top row...it also just looks right in a way? Like I'm just supposed to have braces lol. I really want to get over my fears and smile in them/show them off, but we'll see.
I can't believe I have a full set of braces now!! After so many years of having this kink and thinking I would NEVER get braces (mortified me, just the thought), here I am...a brace face at 24 (going on 25). It's so crazy. I'm kind of wanting to get some kind of headgear now, just for fun to attach to these and take pics in....that could be fun especially now that I have the full set.
