I wonder why he'd stopped writing the story. Perhaps he had things in mind that weren't according the rules or he simple had no motivation left to continue.

It seems like giving up on a story isn't uncommon when the author is new to the forum.  Seems from previous posts that he wanted access to the story archive.  Maybe he just gave up due to loss of interest.  Maybe he found it a daunting to get to 30 posts.  With the time it takes to write a story, I can easily understand that.
