Well, this has to be the worst ever.  Were there any at all??  Marion Jones got hers on and off between big events.  I expect that was deliberate.  She apparently ended her treatment too soon and isn't wearing her retainer.  It looks to me like her fang is drifting right back out where it was.  What a shame.  Maybe she'll get them again after this  is over.

All of the gymnasts looked like they have finished.  Patterson and Kupets had some nice ones in recent years, but no more.  

The runner from Mexico had braces, but they were very hard to see.

So are these athletes getting more image-conscious and timing their treatment so they are finished before the Olympics?  Or is it luck of the draw?  Oh, well.  Here's hoping for better viewing in 2008!

There's a fella with braces too but I don't remember anything about him.
