I like where this is going.

In some parts of world people are embarrassed to be seen exercising. Exercising is seen as something unfit do to get fit.

Maybe this could be analogous to braces, maybe the perception braces is starting to shift.
Maybe braces could a symbol of improving teeth instead of an admission of bad teeth.
