If I can say so, the transaltion for "dental braces" here in Spain is "Aparato de ortodoncia" or "Aparato ortodoncico"
I guess Aparato Ortodontico is used in South America or something, I have never heard of that expression.
greetings!
phate.
PS: Gr8 job with the translations
EDIT: reading the translations again I found some mistakes (hope you don't mind)
braces also means "aparato" in spanish, just as appliance
"aparelho ortodôntico" is portuguese, not spanish
fixed braces means "aparato fijo" in Spanish
elastics means "elásticos" or "gomas" in Spanish (depends on how people calls is)
functional appliance means "aparato funcional" or "aparatalogioa funcional" in Spanish
orthodontic means "ortodocia" in Spanish
orthodontist means "ortodoncista" in Spanish
removable brace means "aparato removible" in Spanish
molar band means "banda" in Spanish
I hope this can help u to complete your translations
