I had them at 15, for 2 years.  They were metal with hooks and elastics to fix an open bite.  My teeth are worse now at 32, I didn't have my wisdom teeth pulled untill 28.  Made my teeth crowd and opened my bite more.

I have had mine for about nine months now after wanting them for nearly fifteen years.

I'm happy I decided to get them, but I'm bored with mine already, and I think having them has decreased the degree of my fetish, although clearly not completely as I'm still here and posting.

i have braces. okay ive been having braces for more than 2 years. i got headgear (wired) about 1 year ago. && im gonna wear them for one and a half year at least.
oh and before all of these i had retainer like everybody else.
i have no problem with them, actually i can say i like them.
