I have not seen it yet.  This ia a quote from Paul Mazurzky, the director:
 "My daughter Meg played one of Alex's daughters. She was twelve, wore braces, and was very convincing."

The trailer has a short clip but is not of good quality.

This movie has a storyline that is hard to follow. It is about a movie director and his life. The copy I found was not of great quality. The daughter has full metal braces for some of the movie. If you look carefully they are visible. The braces play a very minor role in the film.
Not really worth watching in my opinion.
