There are some great retainer shots in this movie, and Alison Lohman is extremely cute.

In this interview she talks about her retainer in Matchstick Men. There are quite a few others on the web about this (just google for "Alison Lohman" and "retainer"):

I missed out on that „Matchstick Man” before. Haven’t seen the movie myself, but there is at least one scene in a car where the Nic Cage and the Alison Lohman character kiss, she with the retainer in her mouth. Very remembering of the second Lolita movie.

There is a short scene at about 30 minutes into the movie with some good views of her retainer. At about 1 hour into the movie, there are several good shots of the retainer in her mouth. There are good scenes all through the remainder of the movie.

This is a 3 star movie in my opinion.
