Quite.  I'm a VERY amateur leather-crafter.  (What do I make with leather?  A messes.  I make messes.)  While I appreciate the idea of this project, it is not even entry-level on the skillset-level, and not worth the price in the slightest.  There is maybe $5 worth of leather and hardware in there, and max 90 minutes of work.  (For the record, I made my own leather headgear for more or less $10.  Took me 2 days to make, though...)

don't forget about the holding clips, they are not quite cheap

I was watching Tiktok videos of this channel because of her wearing headgear.  I found the combination of headgear, makeup and true crime to be strange.  She is here:  https://dereferer.me/?https://www.tiktok.com/@fatalfaye

Then I read an article here:  https://dereferer.me/?https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-bizarre-and-unsettling-rise-of-true-crime-makeup-videos-on-youtube-and-tiktok

about make up and true crime videos being a 'thing' and she was the first example they mentioned.

Actually, there are no braces to be seen in this video. So why do I try to direct your attention to it then?

Because it is the first video that I know of to show that our "heroine" of the "MyGlamLife" Youtube Channel is no more wearing braces.
She lost them some time between "now" and the beginning of february.

Why is that important enough for a comment? It isn't... not really, there are a lot of more important things going on.
It's just that this moment was long overdue. So long in fact that I wondered for months, why she's still wearing braces.

And to those who don't know her channel: Italian adult female, who wore braces for over four years. A good part of it she had to wear headgear, which she did quite a lot.
Around mid to end 2020, her daughter also had to wear headgear.

But a lot of videos, especially from that period were recently deleted (or made private?) from her channel. Still, the channel as a whole is still very watchable in my mind.

Let's say good bye to "MyGlamLife". She was a fascinating adult woman to wear her headgear in public and to show it on YT! Great!

Hi! Her name was Luisa. I have been in touch with her from the beginning... Before she was wearing the headgear in public. At first she didn't want to wear it in public. Because she was afraid what people where thinking and the staring. I told her: Don't care about that. Be brave.. it's part of your treatment, your journey. And I showed her that I was wearing my headgear in public in the Netherlands. Than she tried it to in her homeland, Italy. We emailed and exchanged experiences. She did like the positive attention on her YouTube and Instagram. But did not like the more aggressive messages and comment from people with a braces fetish.. she told me. This scared her off a bit. Perhaps this is the reason for her that she made some of the videos private only... However, she was very kind and open in het emails towards me.. and she had great videos about her experience wearing the headgear in public... Also she wrote me that her daughter hated the headgear and also was a shame of it..  She told me that the main reason that she shared her content is to share her experience and that it is ok to wear braces...

Your statement could also have been read in a way, that the daughter was embarrassed by / ashamed of her mother wearing headgear.
Most teenagers are - after all - embarrassed by her parents. Especially when the parents do something that makes them stick out of a crowd,

And let's face it: Wearing Headgear is quite embarrassing. Even more when done in public, as the mother repeatedly did.

I personally(!) think that both variants are true: She certainly was embarrassed, having to wear headgear herself. But I also do not find it hard to believe that the daughter is glad that her mother is no longer walking around town with a conspicuous silver contraption strapped to her head.
