Hello HG123,
There a two related problems on the issue:
First, to sell anything, you need to have a business - by German standards, a business that has been registered on the trade registry. At the very least, you would need a website with an imprint stating clearly who your customers are dealing with. Such an imprint would, at the very least, include your full postal address. Since you don't run a business in that sense, we unfortunately can't allow you to advertise in this forum, since we would be liable to damages if anything went wrong.
Second, I heard from one of your customers that you send Paypal requests. If a customer authorizes that request, you will automatically get this customer's name and full address, whereas the customer would still only have your name. If I was a customer of yours, I'd prefer to transfer the money to you myself, via Paypal, since I could then leave out my address. You'd only get the name of the customer that way. Which would only be fair, since you don't give your address - so why should your customers give you theirs?
Sincerely,
Marty

That's not at all true in most countries, and whilst I know that your Germans are often deemed to be rather more "strict" than others, I actually doubt that you are any different there than here in England.

To sell something in England, I do NOT have to have any form of registered business, I can sell, do consulting or whatever, as long as I declare my profits for tax etc. And as long as I am honest, don't mislead, or otherwise break the law. It's called "a part-time business".

Again, I believe that is NOT actually true: there are PLENTY of websites out there who are pretty anonymous. Again, as long as you are not misleading, I doubt it's actually illegal. However, it is definitely good manners to indicate who you actually are.

Now, if I go back to the start of this thread, it was NOT HG123 who made the original post: it was Pafi_00. HG123 only then responded back when others made comments, so I'd hardly call that "advertising".

Or am I missing something? (maybe he IS actually advertising in the German boards??)

I don't see why anyone has their panties in a twist about this. I sent the guy some money, he sent me the vid. Worked fine, and there's nothing illegal about it.

The vid is good. The girl is beautiful and sexy. I just wish the vid was longer. I'd buy another.

"Good video"
"Yes, nice Video :) All fine"
"She is absolutely beautiful."

OK, she is beautiful
but how is the quality (resolution)?
It's a HD like quality or blurry?
How many seconds does she wear this Headgear...
and how many seconds she speaks with this HG?

I think it's a lot of fuss about nothing, but she is the right model and it is the right removable brace

OK, lets make it short....
The video is 640 x 400, quality is OK, but quite some fuzzy lines from interlacing (maybe transcoded from MPEG)
Video is cut from different scenes with different backgrounds and different upper clothing of the model, not really
matching.
Scene of girl speaking with braces is some 3 or 4 seconds unfortunately, other scenes with braces are comparably short.

BUT... i think we should support the maker of the videos, the girl is nice, the braces also! He is certainly no movie director, but
he might understand what is important for future videos. Keep the scenes longer, work on the storyboard and things like background
and matching accessories and clothing. Resolution of the video should be better, try to keep volume of music near to volume of speech, try to reduce noise in audio track.

THEN AND ONLY THEN, me and (i think) other people are willing to pay (much) higher prices for the videos!

To the producer of the videos: Please take this to keep up with your work, the way is right i think.  ;)

Your first model is so cute. When a new video with this girl ?

Why not a photo series, like 50 or 60 pictures on the website braced life ?

After having bought and watched the clip, the sad truth has to be said:

This is a somewhat dishonest way for the maker of the film to make money. I say this because:

1. Even with existing know-how and technology, the clip could and should have been longer.

2. As with my previous point - more such clips could have been made already, and for this price, they should have been bundled in one file or zip file.

3. This site serves people who are, how to put it moderately, admirers of the aesthetics of both braces of all kinds, and their wearers. So, posting such a clip here, when only 5 seconds of it are actually showing anything, is teasing, if not worse than that.

4. As was well said before me, it is very easy to produce still images of the the wearer and her brace, and the fact it had not been done so far, despite the positive feedback and general appraisal from this community, says "not-so-positive" things about the producer, who I thought was one of us, or at least has the minimum understanding about this forum (does not have to be a genius, mind you).

5. If I knew all this when I paid for the movie and exposed my personal data to the mercy of an anonymous party, I would have not done it.

I challenge the maker of this film - Either make more media available, or refund me for the sheer disappointment.

I know I speak for many, albeit my style is a bit harsh.
